Available Animals

All of the animals posted below are available for adoption unless otherwise specified next to their name. We do our best to keep the site current and updated.

Please note... Pawsibilities is a foster-based rescue. All of our animals live in loving foster homes until they find their new families.  At this time, we don't have a facility that is open to the public. To schedule a visit with any animal, please follow the steps outlined in our adoption process (below).

We are happy to answer questions about our animals. To inquire about any of our available pets, please email us at PawsibilitiesNV@gmail.com.

Our Adoption Process:

If you see a pet you're interested in, here are your next steps...

  1.  Send us a completed application. Please let us know if you need any assistance filling out or submitting it. We are here to help! If you need/want a printable application they can be found towards the bottom of the web page.
  2. We will contact you with any questions we have. Otherwise, we will set up a time for a meet and greet with you and your family with the pet.
  3.  During the meet, we want to make sure we answer all of your questions and talk about all the important points of adding this pet to your family.
  4.  Whenever possible we try to do home checks with our animals. Once your application is approved and you are ready to bring your new pet home, we will set up a time to bring the pet out to your home. In almost all instances the adoption will be final at this time. We will bring all the necessary paperwork, records, and essentials with us to your home visit.

Please note: We do NOT hold individual puppies for ANYONE until the potential adopter has visited the litter.

  • We try to respond to applications within 24 hours of submission. We will use the email you provide in the application.
  • When communicating with us, if we have not received a reply from you within 24 hours, we will assume you are no longer interested and move on to the next interested party.
  • Please be available to meet the animal within a week of submitting your application.

Dogs and Puppies

We have lots of wonderful dogs and puppies available for adoption. Ages range from puppy to senior. Details are in their descriptions.

Breezy

Breezy

Breezy

Pit Bull Terrier - Adult - Spayed Female

If you are in need of a little (or a lot) of sunshine and joy in your life, look no further. Breezy is one of the happiest, sweetest, most joyful dogs we've ever met. She loves life and celebrates every happy moment with the biggest smile on her face and the most enthusiastic tail wag. We absolutely adore her!

Breezy loves other dogs and is a wonderful playmate. She will romp and play and roll with the best of them. If you have a toy or a stick, she loves that too. She's a good girl at fetch and a wonderful partner.

We don't have any information on Breezy's prior life before she came to us in terms of kids. We suspect she would do fine given her happy-go-lucky "I love everyone" personality. We have introduced her to cats and she's done well with kitties.

When we got her, we were told she was around 9 years old. Her birthday is estimated to be (around) November 22, 2016. It's truly hard to imagine considering how much she loves to play. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and house-trained.

Walnut

Breezy

Breezy

Walnut

Chihuahua Mix - Adult - Neutered Male

Walnut is an affectionate, slightly shy boy. He is reserved when he first meets new people but once he's comfortable he has a beautiful, sweet, loving personality. He loves to go for walks and is a great hiking buddy. He also loves splashing through water and going for car rides.

Walnut would prefer a home where he is an only child. He has lived with other dogs but can be cranky and he will chase kitties so we he think he'd do best as an only pet. He does prefer adults as small children make him a little anxious.

We believe Walnut is a chihuahua mix. He's a bit big to be just chihuahua and his shape is similar to a corgi. Your best guess is as good as ours as to what else might be mixed in there. Walnut weighs around 25 lbs.

We estimate Walnut's birthday to be around December 09, 2020. He is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped.

Sonora

Breezy

Sonora

Sonora

Shepherd Mix - Adult - Spayed Female

Sonora is a beautiful brown-eyed girl with a huge heart and fantastic smile. She has a gentle, sensitive soul and is eager to please her person. We believe she will be a loyal dog and someone's truly special friend.

Sonora came to us a little bit on the shy side. She just wasn't sure what to make of her new foster family with all the hustle and bustle going on. After just a short time we got a gentle nose touch, a soft ear in our hand looking for a pet, and now she's sleeping on the bed with her foster mom and happily jumping in the car for outings and new adventures.

Sonora is wonderful with other dogs. She shines when she plays. We'd love to see her go to a home with other dogs. She loves splashing (and laying) in water, fetch, toys, and car rides. We think she would do ok in a home with kitties.

We think she would be happies in an adult only home or home with older children.

We believe Sonora is a shepherd mix however your best guess is as good as ours. Her birthday is August 17, 2019. She is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped.

Nala

Cookie

Cookie

Nala

Shepherd/Lab Mix - Young - Spayed Female

Nala is a beautiful, young lady with a sweet personality. She is affectionate, loving, and friendly. Nala can be shy at first but invite her to play and add another pup for fun and she is a delight! Nala loves other dogs and is happy to follow a leader. She is a fan of toys, a good game of chase, and of course, galivanting through water!

We think the best home for Nala would be an active adult home that includes her as part of the family. We also think that some training (you pick the adventure!) would help her build confidence, and connection, with you!

We haven't introduced Nala to kitties so they are an unknown.

Nala was born on Memorial Day, May 31, 2024. She is spayed, microchipped,  and current on vaccinations.

Pit Bull/Cattle Dog Mix - Adult - Spayed Female

Meet Cookie—a smart, happy, energetic girl who’s ready to steal your heart!

This Pit Bull Cattle Dog mix is full of fun, personality, and curiosity. Cookie loves fetch, toys, splashing in water, car rides, and giving endless kisses. She’s always up for an adventure and keeps a watchful eye on her “neighborhood,” letting you know if something seems out of place. She’s adventurous and spirited (in the very best way), always on the go but melts into affection once she knows you.

Cookie is people-friendly and would do best with older kids who can handle her excitement and enthusiastic greetings. We think she would do well with smaller kiddos too, but her energy level may be a little too much for little bodies.

She’s friendly with other dogs after a proper introduction and adjusts her play style easily. She’s house-trained, dog-door trained, smart, and treat-motivated, knowing commands like sit, down, and wait, and she LOVES learning new tricks.

Cookie thrives in a home with structure, guidance, and lots of love. She shines when she has a family who enjoys being active and sharing adventures with her. She would do best in a no-cat home and is looking for a family who can match her playful, loyal, and silly personality.

Cookie is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations. We estimate her birthday to be around July 12, 2023.

Zeus

Honey

Honey

Zeus

Husky - Adult - Neutered Male

This gorgeous boy has many of the usual husky characteristics you would expect of his breed. He is smart, alert, playful, and wise. He adores exercise in any form and celebrates every chance he gets to go for walks, hikes, or play in the yard. Fetch is one of his most favorite activities and he will happily spend as much time as you offer chasing a stuffy or a ball.

Zeus would love a home with a family or person that makes him part of the pack. Being Zeus is a husky, we do ask that you have a secure yard and would love for you to have some experience with the husky breed so we can ensure the very best match for you and Zeus.

We don’t know if Zeus has lived with cats in the past, but we suspect he’d do best in a kitty-free home. If you have other dogs, we’d love for Zeus to meet both you and your pup prior to going home.

Zeus' birthday is estimated to be around April 25, 2021. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.

Honey

Shepherd - Young - Spayed Female

Honey is a fairly new intake to Pawsibilities. She is a sweet, sensitive girl who came in needing some TLC both emotionally and physically.

We are working on both and will post updates on her progress, including when she's ready to go home.

Cats and Kittens

So many kitties to choose from! We usually have cats and kittens of all ages. Most of our kitties are people friendly but we do have barn kitties available as well much of the time.

James Bond

James Bond

Young - Neutered Male - Domestic Short Hair

Mr. Bond is a new intake. We are working on photos and bio for this dashing fellow! Stay tuned!

Barn Cats and Roommates

Barn cats and roommate kitties are generally feline companion cats or outdoor cats that are on the feral side. These kitties do not seek human companionship. They have lived with their fosters peacefully and quietly but have told us they prefer to be left alone or in the company of other cats.

Brandy

Brandy

Young- Spayed Female - Domestic Short Hair

Brandy is one of our shy girls. She is happy in the company of other kitties and prefers four legged companions to humans. We suspect Brandy would be happier as a barn kitty or quiet roommate and friend to another kitty. If you are looking for a cat to co-exist with that will not bother you for pets, Brandy might be your girl. If you need a barn kitty and have a safe outdoor space for this pretty lady we would be happy to tell you more about her.

Brandy is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

Brandy's birthday is estimated to be around May 01, 2025.

Small Critters and Feathery Friends

Currently available little critters:  Guinea Pigs and Cockatiel

Chunk

Chunk

Young - Male - Guinea Pig

Chunk is a happy little guinea pig with a sweet personality. He has been socialized and is people friendly. He loves to chatter and cheer for fresh fruits and veggies and enjoys gentle pets and attention.

Most guinea pigs like to have companions and we'd love for Chunk to go home with a friend.

We estimate Chunk's birthday to be around October 2024.
