Available Animals

We are a foster-based rescue... but what does that mean?

All of our animals are housed in foster homes until they find their new families. At this time, we do not have a facility that is open to the public to view these animals. To schedule a time to meet with any animal, follow the steps below.

Feel free to inquire about any pet you see via the "Contact Us" tab or email us at PawsibilitiesNV@gmail.com.

Our Adoption Process

  1.  Send us a completed application (under the dropdown menu "Available Animals"). Please let us know if you need any assistance filling out or submitting it. We are here to help!
  2.   We will contact you with any questions we have. Otherwise, we will set up a time for a meet and greet with you and your family with the pet.
  3.  During the meet, we want to make sure we answer all of your questions and talk about all the important points of adding this pet to your family.
  4.  We require home checks with all of our animals. Once your application is approved and you are ready to bring your new pet home, we will set up a time to bring the pet out to your home. In almost all instances the adoption will be final at this time. We will bring all the necessary paperwork, records, and essentials with us to your home visit.

Please note: For litters of puppies, we do NOT hold individual puppies for ANYONE until the potential adopter has visited the litter.

COVID update: At this time, home checks are not required in order for an animal to go home. In lieu of this we will request a virtual tour of your home or the living space of the pet before they go home.

Dogs & Puppies

Henry

Henry

Henry

German Shepherd - 5 years old - Neutered Male

Henry was only a day away from euthanasia when we pulled him to safety. He is a fantastic dog and will make someone a very good companion, he is incredibly loyal and affectionate to his people. He may seem a little aloof when first meeting new people but warms up quickly.

He has been through a lot in his life, and we want to make sure he has the best shot at a forever home. His new home must be experienced with German Shepherds and their quirks.

He does well with some dogs but not all, slow intros to new dogs are a must. We feel that he would thrive best in an environment where he is the only animal.

Henry is neutered, up to date on vaccines and is microchipped.

Leroy

Henry

Henry

Lab Mix - 10+Years old - Neutered Male

Leroy has had a hard life but if there's one thing dogs keep teaching us, it's that we must live in the moment and let go of past wrongs. Even though he has had to endure abuse he still has so much room in his heart to love people.

His future home needs to understand that physical touch may be hard for him at first and quick movements can scare him (butt scratches are his favorite though!). He asks for a home with other dogs, he plays like a puppy although he doesn't see all too well and he doesn't always keep up, but he gives it 100% all the time- his zoomies are pretty epic to watch.

He would not do well with small children.

Leroy is neutered, up to date on all his vaccines and is microchipped.

April

Henry

April

Husky/Shepherd - 1-2 years old - Female

April came to us with her litter of four puppies, each one more special than the last! Lucky for April, she won't have to worry about having any more babies- we will have her spayed before going home!

April is shy with new people but with a slow introduction she warms up and gains trust over time. Her adopter should understand that a relationship with April will take time but will also be the most rewarding thing ever - as her foster mom will tell you!

She is a very playful and affectionate young lady and loves rough housing with other dogs.

April is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and will be spayed and microchipped before going home.

Oscar

Olive - Medical Hold

April

Husky/Shepherd - 9 weeks old - Male

Oscar is one of April's puppies - he has a fantastic personality and loves hanging around his people and dog friends.

One special thing about Oscar is that he has persisting pupillary membranes in both eyes. He is unable to see directly in the center of his vision but can see along the outer edges. If you didn't know this about him though you'd never be able to tell, he romps around like any normal pup! Our vet believes this is something that will likely stay with Oscar throughout his whole life.

Oscar has received his first set of puppy vaccines, has been dewormed and is microchipped. He will go home with a voucher to cover his neuter when he's a little older.

Cats & Kittens

Selina

Selina

Selina

9 years old - spayed female - short hair

Selina has had a very rough life, there's no getting around it. She lived most of her life in a hoarding house and for those who don't know, there is no "life" in a home like that. Barely any food, no litterboxes to speak of, constant and various infections, not to mention having one litter of kittens right after another. Selina had never known a kind human hand until she came to us, so it's no wonder that she prefers the company of cats to humans. We're ok with that (we feel the same way most days) and let Selina call the shots.

Selina needed a lot of medical care, she had to have a full dental extraction (her teeth were literally falling out of her mouth during her initial exam), but it hasn't stopped her from enjoying her food at all.

A potential adopter for Selina should understand that she will likely never be a lap cat or enjoy human interaction. We consider her and cats like Selina to be more "roommate" cats than "companion" cats- except this roommate won't help cover the bills, sorry!

Selina is spayed, up to date on shots, has been dewormed and is microchipped.

Belle

Selina

Selina

5 years old - spayed female - short hair

Belle came to us after her owner passed away. She is a shy girl but given time to become familiar with her new surroundings she finds her bravery.

She is a beautiful lady who will thrive in a calm environment with a patient family who will let her hide in the beginning and explore at her own pace. She does well with other cats and has lived with dogs in the past.

We do feel that Belle and Oliver are a bonded pair and should go home together.

Belle is spayed, up to date on vaccines and is microchipped.

Oliver

Selina

O'Malley

10+ years old - neutered male - long hair

Oliver came to us with Belle after his owner passed away. We were told he was a young cat, but it became apparent quickly that he was having some dental problems and he was probably much older than guessed.

After emergency vet care for stomatitis (dental infection) we had to have a dental surgery to remove his remaining teeth. While under anesthesia, he was also shaved to remove his matted fur. Ollie will have a beautiful flowing coat again soon!

Ollie is an amazingly affectionate cat and would love nothing more than to be in your lap 24/7. He prefers to sleep next to his human at night and is very quick to purr. If you're looking for a little fluffy shadow who will always let you know when the food bowl is empty- you've found him! Oliver is your guy!

We do feel that Oliver and Belle are a bonded pair and should go home together.

Oliver is neutered, up to date on vaccines and is microchipped.

O'Malley

Bernadette

O'Malley

1 year old - neutered male - long hair

O'Malley may look a little rough but once you step closer to this guy you quickly find out that he is full of pure love. Before he came to us O'Malley was a street cat and had been attacked by other cats- it's quite clear that he is a lover, not a fighter...

Everyone who has had the pleasure of meeting O'Malley says something along these lines, "Whoever adopts him will get the best cat they could ever hope for." He is affectionate and polite, quite the gentleman.

He does well with female cats but seems to get nervous around other males. He is cautious with dogs but would do well with calm dogs.

O'Malley is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped.

Noodle

Bernadette

Bernadette

8 months old - neutered male - short hair

Noodle is a goofy, affectionate and playful teenage cat- a perfect combination for someone looking for a friend to keep them company.

Quick to warm up to people and new situations, he is a pretty unique guy. He is quite curious about dogs and even seeks out affection from them too. Noodle would do well in most any environment!

Noodle is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped.

Bernadette

Bernadette

Bernadette

We rescued Bernadette and her two siblings from a horrible start in life and bottle fed them from ~2 weeks old. Now they are ready to find their perfect homes!

They have had their first set of kitten vaccines and have been microchipped. If they have not been spayed or neutered by the time of adoption a voucher will be provided to the adopter to cover the surgery.
