Courtesy Listings

What is a courtesy listing?

A "courtesy listing" refers to an animal that is not owned by Pawsibilities. We are assisting in their rehome for members of our community needing help.

Due to space limitations, we reserve our foster homes for animals who are at risk of euthanasia. We are more than happy to advertise animals for those needing help placing their pets while they stay in their care.

If interested in an animal on this page, please fill out our Adoption Application and we will forward all information to their current owner.

Are you needing help and interested in this process?

See our questionnaire at the bottom of the page.

Need Rehoming Help?

Please reach out to us by email at PawsibilitiesNV@gmail.com.

**We will only be able to assist the LEGAL CAREGIVER of the animal**

When emailing, please tell us of your situation and why you are needing to rehome.

We will need the following information to get things started:

Name, age, breed, gender (spayed/neutered)

Any pictures or videos you have would be great, the better the quality the faster your pet will gain attention.

Behavioral questions-

  1. House trained?
  2. What's (his/her) favorite toy or game?
  3. How does (he/she) do in the car?
  4. Any handling issues (such as trimming nails or being restrained)?
  5. Any separation anxiety?
  6. Would you say that (he/she) is an escape artist?
  7. Any bite history to anyone (other dogs, humans, etc)? This would not change our mind about helping, we must disclose this to an adopter.
  8. Does (he/she) resource guard anything like food, bones, toys, etc.?
  9. Are there any kinds of people (men or children for example) that (he/she) is slow to warm up to?
  10. How is (he/she) with other animals? Any types of dogs/cats (he/she) doesn’t get along with?
  11. Has (he/she) had any experience with small animals?
  12. How is (he/she) health-wise?
  13. Microchipped and up to date on vaccines? (if (he/she) isn't, don't worry, we can provide information for low-cost clinics).

A short bio of the animal is very helpful, 1-2 paragraphs tops is all that's needed. Examples for what to include in a bio include their likes/dislikes, typical exercise needs and what kind of home would suit them best.

Please send this questionnaire to us by email and we will get back to you with any follow up questions! We will add your pet to this page, also to Petfinder.com, Adoptapet.com and our social media outlets.

Adoption Fees

We do not set any adoption fees for Courtesy Listing Animals

Any fees are set by the current owner and are not paid to Pawsibilities.
